The task: The spa area in the Post Hotel in Mittenwald was to be brought up to a new level. Contemporary and sophisticated, just as guests expect today.

The understanding of interior design is particularly evident in the spa area. The demands on ambience and functionality are high. There is hardly any other place in a hotel where guests spend more time and - sometimes consciously, sometimes unconsciously - absorb the atmosphere.

The spa area of the Post Hotel in Mittenwald was completely redesigned in 2024 - with the aim of combining a closeness to nature with a contemporary ambience. The rooms had to be well structured and private, secluded areas had to be created. And most importantly: a feeling of security.

Raumkunst Werdenfels has created a place that is grounding and at the same time pampers with a high level of design.

The focus: fabrics with character. In combination with light-colored wood, natural stone and soft light, they unfold their effect - as an upholstered backrest element, as a curtain or on striking lounge chairs. Particularly memorable: the floral velour pattern in rich green, which runs through the room like an echo of nature.

Each area tells its own story: many elements play with the water, with the course of the Isar. The relaxation room, on the other hand, becomes a forest refuge, the textile play of structure, color and material aims to create an ambience of security - timeless, sensual and finely staged.
